GCC Ministerial Council condemns attempts to undermine stability in Bahrain

Jeddah - The GCC Ministerial Council has condemned the attempts to undermine security and stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came during 116th session of the council which was participated by foreign ministers of the member countries last night in Jeddah.
The UAE delegation was led by Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

 GCC Ministerial Council concludes meeting

The GCC ministerial council concluded its 116th session under the chairmanship of Kuwaiti Deputy Prime and Foreign Minister Dr Mohammed Sabah al-Sabah.
The council expressed good wishes to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the President to the UAE, who has recently undergone a medical check up.

GCAA announces the recovery of Digital Flight Data Recorder From UPS6 Boeing 747 - 400

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), announced yesterday morning that the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) from UPS Boeing 747 - 400 cargo aircraft was recovered today, Tuesday 7th of September at 9: 15 am in a reasonable condition.
The UPS Boeing 747 -400 cargo aircraft crashed on 3rd September in an unpopulated area in Dubai killing the two crew members.
The Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) was previously recovered on 4th September, approximately 6 hours after the accident. The

 UAE's first child field hospital operates in Pakistan

The UAE has sent Emirates World Humanitarian Field Hospital for Child Care to Sindh region of Pakistan to provide curative and preventive services to children in the flood stricken areas as per the directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to assist the people of Pakistan affected with floods.

More than 3 million people benefit from Iftar programme of MBRMHCE

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRMHCE) implemented Iftar feeding programmes in seven countries this year including Palestine, Iraq, Mauritania, Indonesia , Tajikistan, Haiti and India.
The Establishment set up cooperation agreements with the charity societies in those countries for effective implementation of the humanitarian initiative, from which over three million needy persons benefited.

 Saif bin Zayed launches new UAE Mobile Planetarium

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan launched in Abu Dhabi yesterday new environment friendly Green Emirates Mobile Planetarium.
Sheikh Saif was briefed about the observatory, which includes the advanced hig tech astronomical telescope with huge capacities. It works with solar energy and consumes lesser energy.
