Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been entrusted with the following tasks:
o Collecting, researching and disseminating information, legislation and statistics relating to commerce and industry.DCCI’s International Business Club can provide meeting halls and conference organization, computer equipment, as well as accessibility to the Internet. Also available are simultaneous interpretations, telephone, faxes and mail services.
o Provision of information on investment opportunities in Dubai.
o Issuing and authenticating certificates of origin and other commercial documentation.
o Overseeing qualities and standards of goods
o Settlement of disputes involving Chamber members through arbitration.
o The holding of economic and commercial conferences and participation in similar events inside and outside the emirate.
Thee Chamber's Dubai Institute for Applied Studies provides professional education at various levels (Diploma, Senior Diploma and Masters). The institute also offers practical training and consultancy services.
E-services are on offer to DCCI members, and include the issuance of certificates of origin, legal and arbitration services, commercial directory information, booking of chamber facilities, viewing and updating membership profiles, library and news and commercial events.
