Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZA) comprises approximately 10 million sq. m of industrial and commercial land. Included in the free zone area is a 14 metre-deep-water port, which is designed to incorporate dedicated petrochemical bulk handling and general cargo berths. HFZA has extensive facilities, including access to three seaports on the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean, combined with a generous incentive framework. The free zone has over 180 companies from 17 countries. It holds ISO 9002 certification, and has recently been awarded ISO 14001 for its quality consciousness in the management of environment safety.
