One hundred fourteen tons of aid donated by the UAE for Syrian refugees in Jordan arrived in Amman last night aboard an Emirati aircraft. The UAE's aid cargo of foodstuff, utensils and detergents donated by the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) will be transported to Za'tari refugee camp in Mafraq, near the Syrian border, and other Jordanian cities. Some 200,500 Syrian refugees displaced to Jordan by violence in their home country and registered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) are targeted by RCA's humanitarian operation. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
