At least thirty countries will participate in this year Abu Dhabi Grand Prix of Judo to be held here at Al-Jazira Sports and Cultural Club on 20th November.
The two day event is hosted by Al-Jazira Sports and Cultural Club in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The work is in progress to contribute to the success of this global event in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the State's airports.
The award comes within "Grand Prix" of Judo series which was launched from Europe through Africa and Asia "Abu Dhabi".
The teams that have confirmed their participation in the tournament include Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, Algeria, India, Iran, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Brazil, Romania, Poland, Latvia, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, the International Federation of Judo announced that the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be the most important terminal of international players' rankings applying the new rules of cash rewards for the golden titles of various weights. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
