56 diplomats sworn in

A new batch of 56 United Arab Emirates diplomats took the oath of office on Saturday before Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the new batch of diplomats, comprising 41 men and 15 women, saying that the U.A.E., under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will spare no efforts in equipping its citizens with educational qualifications, knowledge and technical capabilities.

He also affirmed the ministry's keenness to absorb qualified and efficient citizens to represent the country locally and abroad.

Following the swearing in ceremony, Sheikh Abdullah urged the new diplomats to work hard towards preserving serving their country and preserving its image.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, assistant foreign ministers and officials at the ministry. – Emirates News Agency, WAM – Read more:
