ADNOC hail the country's leadership for unlimited support to oil '&' gas sector
posted on 07/11/2008

ADNOC and its Group of Companies have extended their deep appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Supreme Petroleum Council, for his unlimited support for the oil and gas sector in the country, particularly ADNOC and its Group of Companies.
ADNOC and its Group of Companies have also expressed thankfulness to His Highness's sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition '&' Conference 2008 (ADIPEC), held on November 3-6, 2008 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The Company has also applauded the colossal efforts made by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and his close follow-up of ADIPEC as well as his directives that have contributed to the resounding success achieved by ADNOC and its Group of Companies in all activities.
His Highness' opening of ADIPEC and visit to ADNOC pavilion were a main driving force behind furthering the efforts made to consolidate the oil and gas sector and boost the national economy.
The senior management of ADNOC and its Group of Companies sees His Highness' visit to the company's pavilion as a remarkable move reflecting his unswerving support for the great development drive embraced by the UAE in all areas of life, primarily in the oil and gas domains.
ADNOC and its Group of Companies, being ADIPEC supporter, have effectively been participating in the global event since 1984. This year's edition was attended by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and a galaxy of oil giants, ministers and experts from all over the world.

In addition to its distinctive pavilion which attracted thousands of visitors, ADNOC and its Group of Companies scored high-profile presence in the Conference, chaired by Mr. Ali Rashid Al Jarwan, ADMA-OPCO's General Manager. The Conference featured a large number of valuable presentations and working papers in addition to high-tech, educative lectures on the operations and activities of ADOC and its Group of Companies.
Being of one of the world's largest oil and gas companies that apply state-of-the-art technologies in their fields and enjoy high calibre expertise, primarily in environment and sustainable development domains, ADNOC and its Group of Companies participate in such world gatherings as part of their unfailing support for different business sectors. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
