The role of the joint ministerial committee formed during his visit will playa major role in bolstering cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, economy and mutual investments, Ahmadinejad said.

"We have expressed our determination to explore more areas of cooperation between the two countries in the coming times" the Iranian president said. He explained that these include mutual investments in the fields of energy and trade.

Ahmadinejad insisted that his country will go on with the nuclear program. "We are working in compliance with the regulations and laws defined by the International Atomic Energy Agency. We are just making use of our right to possess the atomic energy" the Iranian president said. He reiterated that it is not in the capacity of the International Agency to stop Iran from possessing the nuclear technology.

Speaking on the possibility of US military strikes on Iran the Iranian President strongly warned all those who think of taking such an unwise step as military act about the drastic consequences "If they have any intention of a military attack on Iran, I tell them with all courage that the era of such practices is over. Not only US but any country in the world should not think of it any more. Iran can not be attacked. Its people are strong enough to defend their nation with capability and steadfastness." Ahmadinejad said.

"We have announced several times that our nuclear program is pursued for peaceful purposes and is completely in compliance with the regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency." "We will continue the march until the end, and the situations permit us to pursue the course without making any shift in our policy" the Iranian President said.

"Those who speak about military attack should understand that their era has ended. Instead of throwing hurdles in front of the progress of the nations of world and destroying them, they should extend hands of help to the people of the region who never wanted some one to come travelling thousands of miles to protect their interests." Ahmadinejad said He said that if America ever dared an attack on Iran they will definitely regret it, because the Iranian retaliation will be very drastic.

Ahmadinejad stressed that the practices of US will not succeed in damaging the cordial relations among the countries in the region. He added that issues and problems will never hinder UAE and Iran from strengthening mutual relations between them.

Speaking on the forthcoming US-Iranian talks on Iraq, the Iranian President said that Iran has positively responded to a US invitation to discuss the security issues in Iraq, and as part of his country's commitment to the people of Iraq, Iran has accepted to hold talks with America. He pointed out that the venue and time of the discussion have not yet been decided. But it can take place in Baghdad in the presence of the Iraqi government.
