Tripoli - Adviser Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the Libyan Transition Council, has received Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, who is visiting Libya, heading UAE's business and investment delegation.
Gargash conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE government and people to the Libyan people over the victory of Libyan Revolution.
Abdul Jalil lauded during the meeting the support of UAE government and people to the Libyan Revolution, welcoming the visit of the UAE delegation. He stressed keenness of the Libyan Transition Council to further boost the ties with the UAE in all fields.
He noted that the UAE was one of the first countries to support the Libyan Revolution, commending the attitude of the UAE President, citing his directives to support the Libyan people during the Revolution.
Abdul Jaili also commended the support of H. H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister to the Libyan Revolution at the international forums.
For his part, Gargash said that the meeting was fruitful as the Libyan brothers were open to all types of cooperation with the UAE to benefit from its experiences in all sectors. Present was UAE Ambassador to Libya Sultan Rashid Al Kitoub. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
