The Arab League's observer mission in Syria is now getting more difficult for different reasons," the UAE's Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed told reporters on Tuesday. "We see that the killing has not stopped. The Syrian side has not honoured its commitments about the movement of the (Arab League's) observers. And, unfortunately, the observers were attacked by people who are not from the Syrian opposition ," Sheikh Abdullah said in a joint press conference in Abu Dhabi with visiting Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba.

"The Arab League is supposed to speak about these attacks as those observers are nationals of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) I leave topic to the Arab League Secretary General," Sheikh Abdullah added. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
