Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to the Prime Minister the greetings of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. During their meeting, they discussed the existing bilateral ties of co-operation and friendship as well as ways to enhance them in the best interest of the two friendly countries.

Praising the nature of the existing ties, which, he said, had developed because of the desire of both countries to support and develop them in various fields, Sheikh Abdullah also made reference to the Malaysian experience in promoting the concept of tolerance and moderation in Islam as well as to its economic development.
