Abdullah bin Zayed meets Singapore's Deputy Premier

Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met here on Friday with the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Teo Chee Hean.

They discussed bilateral cooperation in the economic, investment, education and energy fields, as well as issues of mutual interest, including current regional and international developments.

Further, Sheikh Abdullah praised the development experience in Singapore which, he said, represented an important benchmark for the process of development and progress in the U.A.E..

Teo Chee Hean also commended the progress made by the U.A.E. in all fields and underlined new areas of cooperation between the two countries.

Present during the meeting were Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of East Asia and Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mohammed Ahmed Hamel Al Qubaisi, U.A.E. Ambassador to Singapore. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -
