Abdullah bin Zayed participates in GCC FMs' meeting with US Secretary of State in Riyadh

RIYADH: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, yesterday participated in the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council States with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the GCC states and the US within the framework of the existing strategic partnership as well as the discussions regarding ways to achieve joint cooperation based on the resolutions of the Gulf-American Summit, which was held in May, 2015, at Camp David, in addition to the latest developments in the region and international efforts to combat terrorism.

Earlier, Sheikh Abdullah arrived at the King Salman Air Base Airport in Riyadh, where he was received by Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the GCC, Under-Secretary of State for Protocol Affairs, Ambassador Azzam bin Abdulkarim Al-Qain, GCC Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhaheri, the UAE's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and other Saudi officials. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -
