Abu Dhabi CP receives Australian Defence Minister

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received yesterday Australian Minister of Defence Dr. Brendan Nelson and members of the accompanying delegation.



The meeting dealt with friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Australia, in particular in military and defence areas, as well as ways to further develop them. Sheikh Mohammed and Nelson exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.



The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the Executive Council Mohammed Al-Bowardi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi executive Affairs Authority Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Director of International Affairs at the Crown Prince's Court Yousuf Mana Al Otaibeh, UAE Ambassador to Australia Saeed Mohammed Al-Shamsi and Australian Ambassador to the UAE Jeremy Christopher Courtney.
