Abu Dhabi Crown Prince receives Swiss official

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces yesterday received Moritz Leunberger, Swiss Chief of the Federal Department of Transportation, Communications '&' Energy who is on a visit to the country to attend the World Future Energy Summit, opening tomorrow. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Swiss official and discussed with him means to boost cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of energy.

Leunberger expressed his country's desire to bolster cooperation and to exchange expertise with the UAE in the clean energy fields.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed lauded the progressive ties with Switzerland and referred to the UAE's keen interest in developing new technologies in renewable energy that will enable the country to confront future challenges and to achieve sustainable development. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
