The Executive Committee has approved two projects of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. The projects includes appointment of consultants for the design and supervision for the construction for the infrastructure of Emirati housing villages in the capital.
The projects were approved at a meeting of the Executive Committee chaired by the Secretary general of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi at the Diwan of the Crown Prince.
Projects reflects the role played by the Council in the implementation of the Plan Abu Dhabi 2030 on the design work and oversee the implementation of the infrastructure of the Emirati residential neighbourhoods in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Council.
Water and Electricity Authority Abu Dhabi on the supply and installation of a local water network and the replacement of the existing network. The committee also gave approval for a number of other projects and ratified a memorandum submitted by the Regulation and Control Office on water and electricity tariff in the emirate. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
