Abu Dhabi Executive Council okays change in working hours

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces yesterday chaired the weekly ordinary meeting of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The Council approved a memorandum submitted by the Department of Civil Services on amending working hours at Abu Dhabi public departments from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, effective June 1, 2007.



Also approved was a memorandum by Higher Corporation for Specialised Economic Zones (ZoneCorp) on the development of ICAD 3 project in Mussafah.



ZoneCorp has already selected the project's consultant. The council also sanctioned a memorandum by the Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) on a project to supply and install transformers in Shamkha, Umm Al Oush, Raha Beach and Al Reem island. Another memo on the supply and installation of output lines connecting the main network in Madinat Zayed with the link station in Mussafah.



A memorandum by the Public Projects Committee on the infrastructure works at the new UAE University Campus, was also approved. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
