The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ launched a new website to spread the culture of excellence among staff members.
This embodies the Ministry of Interior's strategy and its philosophy based on achieving quality and excellence, and ensuring a continued excellence process, so as to enhance development of policing and security work.
The site, launched by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations, provides a general overview of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance, and the main activities carried out by the Quality and Excellence teams.
It encourages Abu Dhabi Police staff members to achieve creativity in all areas of work, and acquaint them with the best methods to achieve excellence.
The website also provides a registration service for the newsletter, which is the main tool to spread a culture of excellence in a modern way, and gives answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) about excellence.
Moreover, the website sheds light on debates between staff members on the best practices that enhance the process of excellence in police and security work.
Major General Al Raisi emphasised that excellence has become a main feature of the Ministry of Interior and the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, "Achieving sustainability of the excellence feature is a major challenge that we can definitely face, thanks to the support of the higher leadership and its ongoing commitment to encourage excellence, and achieve the highest standards in the development process of the police sector in various fields,” he said.
In turn, the Excellence Culture Spreading Team at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ affirmed its commitment to adopt purposeful proposals aimed at motivating police staff members to achieve excellence in their work, as part of its Ramadan Council held under the title "Excellence Bites in Ramadan” at the Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi. – The Gulf Today
