Abu Dhabi TV Channel has won the Gold Prize for Best Documentary at the Cairo Arab Media Festival.
The prize has been awarded to Abu Dhabi TV for the documentary series "Al Miqnas", Arabic for Falconer.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, and Head of the Emirates Falconers Club, yesterday congratulated Abu Dhabi TV Channel for winning this prize.
Sheikh Hamdan appeared in three episodes of Al Miqnas series, demonstrating how falconry, as a genuine Arab tradition, respects environmental laws. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
