Abu Dhabi crisis management team responds to cases of bird flu

The emergency and crisis management team in the emirate of Abu Dhabi announced that it had spotted a group of quays infected with the bird flu in a limited area in the Western Region and had taken the necessary measures consistent with the international standards and regulations in handing such cases.

The team said that in co-ordination with other stakeholders precautionary measures had also been taken to ensure continuous monitoring of these cases.

The team called on birds and farms owners to contact the Abu Dhabi Government Call Centre on the phone number 800555 to learn about tests on their birds if they have any suspicions about the health conditions of their bird.
