New, clear and consistent street signs are being planned by the Department of Municipal Affairs, the three municipalities and selected government entities.
The project team met to frame guidelines for creating a street signage manual that will empower the three municipalities to implement their respective Addressing System Projects.
Efficient
"Finalising the addressing system and street signage standards is the key step in achieving a unified addressing system across the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Residents and business can expect a simple, convenient and efficient addressing signage system that will enhance their quality of living in the emirate," said Rashid Al Hajeri, Chairman of Department of Municipal Affairs, in a statement on Sunday. – Gulf News
