Air show ends with a string of records

Dubai's ninth air show concluded yesterday becoming, officially, the biggest yet. It was the biggest in terms of number of visitors, 35,000; in terms of exhibitors, 726; and in terms of the size of deals done over five days, estimated to have crossed the $30 billion (Dh110.4 billion) mark. The show also welcomed the biggest jumbo in history, the Airbus A380. Perhaps the biggest sign of success was that rebookings for Dubai Air show 2007 began as early as the third day of the show.
