Al Qasba readies to showcase Arab hospitality during Holy Month

Al Qasba Development Authority has completed its preparations for the Holy Month of Ramadan with a package of diverse activities as part of its ‘Ramadaniat Al Qasba' event.

Al Qasba is all set to receive visitors with a package of diverse activities, and offers fitting the religious atmosphere of the Holy Month have been created to delight visitors and offer them a unique Ramadan experience and the essence of Arab hospitality.

Al Qasba's main activities include three major events: Ramadan kiosks, Ramadan welcoming tent and promotions, besides which its other facilities like the Kids Fun Zone, Play area and the Etisalat Eye of the Emirates Wheel are ready to receive visitors every day between Iftar and Sohour.

Al Qasba's visitors will also get the opportunity to enjoy 10 spectacular displays of fireworks, which will light up the Sharjah sky every Friday at 10pm throughout the blessed month.

There will be Ramadan kiosks spaced throughout Al Qasba with a variety of goods on display and offer. Non-Muslims will also be offered the chance to learn about Islam, its noble principles and teachings at designated areas.

The Ramadan welcoming tent will receive visitors during the weekend holidays and offer all forms of Emirati hospitality, in addition to live performances by religious chanting bands and a storyteller.

Al Qasba's rich portfolio also includes promotions as well as free shopping vouchers at a number of Al Qasba restaurants, cafés and entertainment facilities.

Speaking on this occasion, Khulood Al Junaibi, events manager at Al Qasba Development Authority at Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), said, "Ramadaniat Al Qasba has a special and unique atmosphere due to the nature of the place and its annual new event offerings. This is besides the various programmes that have been designed in keeping with the special atmosphere of the month that caters to the artistic, cultural, and entertainment taste of each member of the family.” – The Gulf Today
