Alyazia Jihad Ismail, an orphaned young autistic girl, who surprised the country last year with her artistic celebration of the UAE National Day, made this year yet another unique participation that made even the elders thoughtful.

The ten year old girl planted seven trees, each tree carrying the name of an emirate in the seven-emirate union to make her signature in the celebrations marking the 41st National Day of UAE.

Last year, Al Yazia, with the help of her mother, had made a 20-metre-long UAE flag using more than13,400 painted pebbles, and paved it in front of her school run by the Al Dar Academy in Abu Dhabi.

She said that she dedicates her contribution to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
