AmCham Abu Dhabi supports UAE ERC efforts to help Syrian refugees

The Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC) has received a donation from AmCham Abu Dhabi, in support of its humanitarian efforts to assist the Syrian refugees.

Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary-General of the ERC for Local Affairs received the cheque from AmCham Abu Dhabi Chairman, Matthew E. Byrd, at the ERC headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Elias B. Sayah, AmCham, Deputy Chairman of AmCham Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Saeed Al Rumaithi, Director of the ERC branch in Abu Dhabi and Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, Director of the Department of Fundraising at ERC.

The two sides reviewed the current humanitarian situation in the neighbouring countries, focussing on the situation of refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.
