Another UAE aid plane arrives in Beirut

Beirut - A UAE aid plane has arrived in Rafiq al Hariri International Airport in Beirut carrying 40 tonnes of food supplies and medical equipment in support of the people of war-ravaged Lebanon. The consignment was received on the airport tarmac by Mrs. Randa Barri, wife of the Speaker of Lebanese Parliament and Chairperson of the Lebanese Society for the Handicapped and Mohammed Sultan Al Suweidi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon and a number of officials.



Mrs. Barri expressed gratitude to President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his strong support to Lebanon. She also thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and H.H Sheikha Fatima bint in Mubarak and all the UAE people.
