In an interview with "Mar'at Al Yawm” (Today's Women) Magazine which is issued by the UAE Women Federation, Sheikha Tefla highlighted the role of women in the media and praised their role in the development process. Sheikha Tefla also defended women's role and criticised the negative use of women in various media entertainments, giving example of Palestinian women journalists and their role in the media.
