Dr. Mohammed Ayesh, Member of the Action Committee of the Arab Women Media Forum, reiterated the importance of the Abu Dhabi declaration expected to be issued by the Forum to be held on February 2 and 3 in Abu Dhabi. He said that it was not only an ethical code to regulate the Arab woman's relation with media as a informative theme or practice, but it will be a significant requirement for the Arab media.

Holding the event in the UAE and under patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the President's wife and Chairwoman of the UAE Women Federation, reflects the great importance the UAE has acquired in them upliftment of women, Dr. Ayesh said. He was of the view that the media with its expansion in the field of culture and education have attained the UAE attention at the highest level. UAE women have not distanced themselves from the media and have contributed by joining different media establishments, he added. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
