Bahrain Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday lauded the fraternal ties between Bahrain and the UAE, describing them as exemplary and unparalled. In an exclusive interview with the Dubai-based English daily "Gulf News" Sheikha Khalifa said that the UAE-Bahrain relations had always been distinguished as they were based on strong familial ties, mutual understanding and cooperation. speaking on the eve of Bahrain's municipal elections, Sheikh Khalifa said: "We and our brethren in the UAE have built two countries that have no parallel in the world and provided facilities to our people that others have not. "Look at President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and see what wonders he has worked in Abu Dhabi and the entire UAE." Sheikh Khalifa said by completing the process of setting up constitutional institutions, Bahrain would take a giant political step to satisfy the aspirations of the people. (The Gulf News)
