Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (Gamco), an Abu Dhabi-based company that specialises in maintenance and retrofit of commercial and military aircraft, has been approved as a supplier to the Boeing Company. The designation allows Gamco to bid for a number of maintenance, retrofit and other programmes that Boeing has in the region, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Gamco General Manager Saif Al Mughairy said, "We are pleased to be able to work with Boeing in offering high quality maintenance and retrofit services. Our goal is to continue to offer service that exceeds the expectations of Boeing and its customers." Boeing said it is committed to developing and expanding a wide range of complementary business opportunities with partners, customers, and suppliers in the Middle East. (The Gulf Today)
