Bosnian Ambassador praises UAE's charitable works

Omar Nukic, ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UAE, today praised the UAE's charitable works carried out under the instructions of the President H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This came during the ambassador's meeting with Khalifa Nassir Al Suweidi, Board of Directors of UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS. Nukic said that the UAE played a distinguished role in alleviating the suffering of people not only in Bosnia but also all over the world. He added that the UAE's assistance to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina will never be forgotten.



Nukic reviewed with RCS officials about the possibility of helping returning Bosnian refugees as well as supporting Bosnia in various fields. Al Suweidi for his side, said that RCS was ready to extend all kinds of assistance to the needy and provide its services continuously to refugees. RCS sponsored 2000 orphans in Bosnia and Herzegovina through its offices providing them all welfare and good care. Present at the meeting were a number of officials from the RCS.
