Caracal International LLC, the first Emirati Company to specialise in Small Arms manufacturing industry in the UAE announced yesterday that it had signed contracts worth Dh30 million.
The newly launched firm won three contracts to supply 10,000 pistols from the UAE Armed Forces and another contract to supply the same number to the UAE police. The company will also supply 5000 pistols to Bahrain, said Hamad Khalifa Al Neyadi, Managing Director of Caracal.
"Following our impressive show at IDEX, the company looks forward to expanding its activities in cooperation with the private sector to lay the foundations of the defence industry in the country and the Gulf region", said Al Neyadi during a press briefing at IDEX. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
