Chadian Foreign Minister receives UAE Ambassador

N'Djamena - Chadian Foreign Minister, Ahmad Allam-Mi, received at his office yesterday UAE Ambassador to Sudan, Isa Abdullah Al Bashah Al Nu'aimi, who is also the UAE's Non-Resident Ambassador to Chad.



During the meeting, the UAE Ambassador conveyed to the Chadian Foreign Minister greetings from his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Al Nu'aimi reviewed with his host the UAE's foreign policy and the country's stances on some crucial regional and international issues.



The Chadian minister commended the UAE for its foreign policy and described it as "realistic and moderate". He said the UAE's foreign policy had enabled it to play a significant role, particularly in the area of international economic relations. He expressed his gratitude to the UAE's political leadership for their care and concern for African countries. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
