Chief of Libya's NTC lauds UAE's support for Libya

Tripoli - Chairman of the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdel Jalil said yesterday UAE's support for Libya is no align and had been spectacular since the break out of Libya's 17th of February revolution.

Abdel Jalil paid during an audience with the visiting Secretary General of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA), Dr Ateq Al Falahi, a rich tribute to the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for their care and assistance they provided to the Libyan people.

For his part, Dr. Al Falahi said his trip to Tripoli aims at boost avenues of cooperation and coordination between the Emirati and Libyan Red Crescent agencies in order to deliver more assistance to the Libyans, especially families in need of shelter, and rehabilitate vital sectors like schools and hospitals in badly affected areas. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
