The Children's City will hold special events at Creek Park on the occasion of World Children's Day, which falls on 20th November. The activities will be held at the Children's City premises from 4 pm till 8 pm on Friday.
The celebrations will include open studio, dining corner, contacting Lebanon orphans corner, the Ronald McDonald show as well as many other items such as face painting.
The event will be held in collaboration with the Dolphinarium, which will distribute free coupons to see the dolphin show as prizes in the competitions to be held for children.
"While celebrating this day we have considered the fact that the UN General Assembly had recommended in 1954 to celebrate this day as a day of mutual fraternity and understanding among children worldwide," said Nayla Al Mansouri, Acting Head of the Children's City.
"We are delighted to commemorate this occasion that highlights the world's children and brings joy to their hearts, which is one of the primary objectives that the Children's City strives to achieve," she said.
Al Mansouri added that this event and other events for children are always at the priority of the agendas of the Children's City to celebrate. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
