Chinese companies urged to tap UAE potentials: UAE Economy Minister

UAE Minister of Economy Sheikha Lubna Al-Qasimi urged yesterday operating companies the Guangzhou duty free zone in China to invest in the UAE, tap its potentials as well as benefit from its effective investment-friendly legislative and legal structures.



She further said the UAE was able to create a socially and economically completive structure trough boosting economic growth and increasing the share of private sector in country's economy.



Accompanied by the UAE Ambassador to China Mohammed Rashid Al-Bout, Sheikha Lubna visited a number of companies in the said free zone and was briefed on the operations and technologies in use.



Officials of the Guangzhou duty free zone welcomed the visit and said Chinese companies are interested in investing in the UAE's attractive competitive markets. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
