The National Day Committee of Dubai recently convened to discuss the final preparations of its festivities and celebrations planned to take place on the occasion of the UAE's 38th National Day.
The meeting discussed the latest updates on the events set to take place in Dubai, as well as the activities agenda to be undertaken by all government bodies.
The festivities are expected to attract huge participation from Dubai Government bodies, as well as mass populace of the city to share this patriotic occasion. The committee also discussed the activities that will involve government participation to ensure the atmosphere in the entire city reflects the pomp and occasion associated with the 38th National Day of the UAE, and provides a suitably celebratory mood to encourage all residents to join.
Addressing the participants, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, emphasised the importance of coming together to honour this glorious occasion, and directed the government to strive to ensure widespread participation in the special programme of events organised for the day. – Gulf News
