Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has dedicated Dh 1 million as a donation to the humanitarian campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to clothe one million needy children around the world.

DEWA has placed donation boxes inside its head office and all other branches as part of an internal campaign to collect donations from both employees and customers.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the Ramadan campaign to clothe one million deprived and needy children around the world. The campaign lasts until 19th Ramadan, which is the Emirates Humanitarian Day and is also the ninth anniversary of the death of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

To urge citizens to participate in this campaign, DEWA has placed donation boxes and has also sent emails to encourage donations from employees. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
