Dar Al Ber distributes Dh50 million to underprivileged families in the UAE

The seasonal, urgent and charitable aid distributed by the Dar Al Ber Society to the needy families stood at Dh 50 million from January to October 2013.

The number of beneficiaries reached 11, 370 families nationwide.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society said that the aid included the amount allocated inside the country to the widows, orphans, house rents, school and university tuitions, marriage, Holy Quran teachers, maintenance of houses and purchase of medical devices and other services.

He underscored that the UAE led by prudent leadership and officials "is a role model for humanitarian and charitable work." – Emirates New Agency, WAM
