Dar Al Ber signs contracts worth Dh 94 million to implement humanitarian operations in 30 countries

Dar Al Ber Charity Society has so far signed contracts worth more than Dh 94 million to execute 12,000 humanitarian, relief and charitable projects abroad.

Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of the Society, said building of 831 mosques will take the lion's share of Dh 50.3 million of the total allocations. He added Dh 14.4 million would go to water projects (wells, water filters and coolers).

Other projects included distribution of the Holy Quran, food and medical aid, zakat (alms), and productive families.

He said these projects would be carried out more than 30 countries in collaboration with 36 charity organisations and UAE embassies abroad. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
