Dh10 million cricket match proceed for quake victims in India and Pakistan

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, presented in Abu Dhabi yesterday to Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf, a cheque of Dh7.5 million for the victims of the earthquake that hit Pakistan in October last year. The amount is part of the proceed of yesterday's cricket match between Pakistan and India during the inauguration of the Zayed International Cricket Stadium here in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Nahyan also handed out a cheque of Dh2.5 million to the Chairman of the Indian Cricket Association for the quake victims in India.
