Dubai Aid City raises the spirit of Ramadan

posted on 01/11/2004: 735 views

Dubai Aid City is one example of how Dubai is extending a helping hand to the needy during the holy month of Ramadan. The complex, one of the beneficiaries of the 2004 Dubai the City that Cares campaign, is collaborating with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) to promote its Ramadan promotions.

Caring, compassion, joy and happiness are the themes of this year's campaign, which aims to raise Dubai's status as a city that cares locally, regionally and internationally.

Dubai Aid City was launched as a facility for rapid distribution and handling of international aid. Located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai Aid City provides different facilities and services for local and international aid organisations. (The Gulf News)
