On his part, Buamim informed that the Chamber-organised trade mission will allow the participants to gain insights from attending Expo Milan 2015 and to use this opportunity to gain first-hand experience about the various aspects of organising an event of this scale, especially the World Expo 2020 being held in Dubai.

The President and CEO of Dubai Chamber informed that presently there are 223 Italian companies operating in the emirate while Dubai's non-oil trade with Italy amounted to Dh 24.2 billion dirhams, making it 16th largest trading partner for the emirate. The Chamber is looking forward to developing these trade ties and to take them to a higher level, he said.
