Dubai and Phoenix city of the United State have signed an agreement aimed at promoting cooperation and sharing best practices between the two fast growing cities. The agreement was signed by Director General of Dubai Municipality Hussein Nasser Lootah, and Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon.
Present during the signing ceremony was Economy Minister H.E. Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri.
"We see a huge opportunity as to where we can cooperate," Lootah said following the signing of agreement.
Al Mansouri said the strong and deep-rooted relations between the UAE and the USA had translated into many areas of cooperation. He noted that the agreement adds a great value to relations between the two countries. "This is an agreement and friendship between the fastest-growing and most dynamic city in the Middle East and the fastest-growing and most dynamic city in the United States," Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon said. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
