Dubai plans to sign Twin Cities agreement with four more cities world-wide in the near future, said Qassim Sultan, Director General of Dubai Municipality.

We are presently talking with cities like Barcelona, Moscow, Amman and Alexandria ahead of signing the Twin Cities agreement. These agreements will play a vital role in promoting the economic, trade, tourism and sports potentials of Dubai. We, at Dubai Municipality, are keen on expanding the horizons of friendship and cooperation with cities in various parts of the world that will reflect well on the society as a whole, said Qassim Sultan.

He made the remarks at the end of a three-day economic partnership forum between Dubai and Osaka, which was held in the Japanese city from 20 to 22 of this month to discuss ways to boost trade ties between the two cities, which signed a Sister Cities agreement in 2002.
