SHABWAH: The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, continues to send urgent humanitarian and relief aid to the population in Shabwah Governorate.

The assistance is part of the relentless efforts of the UAE to ease the dire humanitarian conditions in Yemen, due to the Houth-Saleh militia.

The ERC sent on Monday a humanitarian aid convoy including food stuff for the population in the Belhaf Area, in Shabwah Governorate in line with the food aid programme implemented by the philanthropic organisation to alleviate the suffering of the population.

Abdullah Al Musaferi, Head of ERC team, said that the organisation will continue to distribute food aid to the people in the governorate as part of the UAE's support of Yemenis because of the war in the country.

The population expressed their happiness in receiving the assistance, extending their thanks and appreciation for the UAE for providing necessary humanitarian aid, which will ease daily living conditions.
