ERC takes delivery of Dolphin Energy Limited's ambulance car to assist Syrian refugees

Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) recently received an ambulance equipped with all safety gadgets for the benefit of Syrian refugees in Jordan.

Rashid Mubarak Al-Mansouri, ERC's Deputy Secretary-General for Local Affairs, extended thanks to Dolphin Energy for its generous donation which would contribute towards supporting health and humanitarian work is being implemented by the ERC to support the displaced Syrians in the sheltering camps in Jordan or in various Jordanian cities.

He said that the ERC always seeks to provide aid for the needy and underprivileged segments in partnership with other humanitarian organisations to achieve the ERC's objectives and message.

Nasser Al Dhaheri, the ERC's Local Aid Department Director, who took delivery of the ambulance, underscored the ERC's keenness on providing assistance to the Syrians in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq to meet the high pressure being exerted on the health sector due to the increasing number of Syrian refugee patients. – Emirates News Agency, WAM - http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395274416487.html
