Minister of Education Humaid Mohammed Al-Qattami yesterday gave directives for schools to take H1N1 precautionary measures without sparking fears among students or affecting classes. These include the setting up of teams to be led by principals who will oversee the precautionary measures. Principals will also be charged with carrying out the basic tasks of educating the staff and students on ways to counter the disease and to deal with H1N1 cases, as well as on hygiene and protection. Also, a daily newsletter has to be read at the morning meeting at all schools. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
