Eid Al Adha holiday for the Ministries and federal institutions will start from Thursday (Arafat Waqfa Day), Oct. 25 and end on Sunday, Oct. 28. The work will officially resume on Monday, Oct. 29, according to the circular issued by Humaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education in his capacity as Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
Eid-al-Adha holidays for the private sector will begin on Thursday 25th October that falls on the Arafat Day and will end on Saturday 27th October, the second day of Eid.
The announcement of the paid holidays came in a ministerial circular issued by Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash.
Ghobash offered Eid-al-Adha greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates, the government, people and residents of UAE, and the Arabs and Muslims across the world. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
