Eid Holidays for government and private sectors announced

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources yesterday announced that Eid Al Fitr Holidays in ministries and federal institutions will start from Sunday, 28th of Ramadan 1432 (28th of August, 2011) to 3rd Sept.

The circulation number 21 for the year 2011 was issued by Humaid Mohammed Al Qattami, Minister of Education, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources under the decision of the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. / 13 / for the year 2010 on the Regulations of the Federal Law by the Federal Decree No. / 11 / for the year 2008 on human resources in the federal government.

All business establishments in the private sector will observe the first and second days of the month of Shawwal as the Eid-al-Fitr holidays, it has been officially announced. The workers will be entitled to two full paid days on this occasion, as per the ministerial decree No.4 Year 2011 signed by Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
